The word has a twofold meaning:it means excitement as well as winding a watch, alas not to be used in other languages than Dutch,but still too nice not to use it. Through this website it is my pleasure to introduce myself and my collection to you. I have a strong passion for mechanical watches, a passion that I share with many others, and that has resulted in my collection as built over the last few years. While others ususally collect watches from various manufacturers, concentrating on a specific category or style period, I myself have concentrated all my efforts on one manufacturer: Vacheron Constantin. When asked for a reason, I cannot give you a definitive answer, only some indications. Being interested only in the vintage models of superior quality, this already limits me to a relatively small number of manufacturers. Amongst this group, Vacheron Constantin distinguishes itself for me through their variety, originality, and sheer beauty of design. Let alone, the quality of the mechanics. Sometimes I was lucky, and I was able to find one for a price not to high especcialy compared to the other high end branches in the market but interrest for Vacheron increased over the last few years with its climax at the `Quarter Millennium` Vacheron Constantin auction at Antiquorum, on April 3rd 2005. For a collector, as for watches, a standstill is decline. And because my resources are limited, I thought it to be a good idea to establish contact with other Vacheron Constantin lovers and collectors through this website, and to offer some of the items of my collection for sale.
